Bishop Energy Engineering, Inc.

Bishop Energy Engineering provides utility tracking services that keep track of energy usage and costs for utilities including electricity, demand, natural gas, oil, and water. This information is a integral component of the SEE program because it helps schools measure and monitor the success of their energy saving efforts. Margaret Bishop, Owner, is a registered Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager (C.E.M.), and has over 19 years of experience working with the government and in the energy industry.

Bishop Energy Engineering collects and organizes utility data, using software to conveniently store and analyze it. Information can be accessed via the Internet or email. The utility tracking program “normalizes” data to allow accurate comparison between years in spite of square footage changes, weather, rates, changes in building use and occupant levels, and increases in electric loads, for example.

When partnering with Bishop Energy Engineering, school districts participate in quarterly progress meetings to discuss the outcome of your energy efficiency efforts. Detailed quarterly reports for each school building will be generated for analysis and communication.

Bishop Energy Engineering provides utility tracking services to many Minnesota school districts and is one option school districts may choose for their utility tracking needs.
